Lloyd Austin noted that "without this help, it would be very difficult for Ukraine to defend itself against the superior force of the Russians."

It is still "too early" to assess the effect on the battlefield of the US funding provided to Ukraine. It took time for Kyiv to get some of the highlighted opportunities. This was stated by US Defense Minister Lloyd Austin, Voice of America reports .

He stated that he was talking with his Ukrainian colleague Umerov, keeping the most important needs under control.

"It is difficult to turn back time, but I believe that without this help, it would be very difficult for Ukraine to defend itself against the overwhelming power of the Russians," the minister said.

According to him, the help of Iran and North Korea allowed Russia to "get back on its feet" after the losses it suffered from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"At a certain point, Russia suffered significant losses due to actions taken by Ukraine and its Armed Forces. They caused significant losses to the Russian forces, destroyed a large amount of their equipment. We also saw how Russia involved North Korea, which provided a lot of ammunition and missiles. The drones provided by Iran really helped and began to turn the tide for Russia a little," the head of the Pentagon explained.

He added that without the help of the People's Republic of China, Russia could not establish the military industry.

"That's why we're engaging the right channels to highlight our serious concerns about the PRC and others who provide such support," Austin concluded.
