On the night of June 16 (from 9:00 PM on June 15), the enemy launched an attack with 138 Shahed-class attack UAVs and various types of simulator drones in the following directions: Bryansk, Kursk, Orel, and Shatalovo – Russian Federation. The Ukrainian Air Force reported this on Telegram.
The main direction of the attack was Donbass.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned aerial systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
As of 08:00, the air defense neutralized 125 enemy Shahed-type UAVs (drones of other types) in the north, east, south and center of the country.
Enemy air strikes were recorded in 10 locations, and crash sites of downed aircraft (debris) were recorded in 8 locations.
