On the evening of June 14, the Israeli military announced on social media that its air force was attacking military targets in Iran, and Iranian state media also confirmed that Tehran had begun its new round of missile attacks on Israel.

State news agency IRNA reported that the attack included both missiles and drones.

The Israel Defense Forces said it had detected rockets launched from Iran and urged residents across Israel to go to bomb shelters after receiving the signal.

"The IDF recently detected rockets launched from Iran toward Israeli territory. Defense systems are working to intercept this threat," the IDF's Home Front Command stated.

Most of the rockets fired from Iran initially targeted the northern city of Haifa and its suburbs. Videos subsequently surfaced on social media showing Iranian rocket attacks on Haifa.

Injuries have been reported after a rocket hit the northern town of Tamra, east of Haifa. According to rescuers, an Iranian ballistic missile hit a two-story building in the northern town of Tamra, east of Haifa, killing one woman and injuring 13 others.

Meanwhile, eyewitnesses in Tehran reported hearing loud explosions and the sound of air defense systems, as well as seeing smoke and flames covering the sky over the northern part of the capital.
