Kazakhstan increases the number of international flights, opens new routes

Kazakhstan continues to conclude international agreements on the expansion of flight routes and their frequency. Every week, 567 foreign flights are operated from Kazakhstan on 121 routes to 28 different countries.

According to the civil aviation committee of the Ministry of Transport, on May 7, the aviation authorities of Kazakhstan and Egypt agreed to increase the total number of permitted flights between the countries from 14 to 48 per week, as well as permitted destinations from two to three for each. side.

Uzbekistan Airways plans to open Almaty-Nukus flights from June 1, the committee's press service reported on May 13. The flights will be operated twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays on Airbus A320 aircraft with 174 seats.

On May 4, the Minister of Tourism and Sports of Kazakhstan Yermek Marzhikpayev, during a meeting with the Ambassador of Jordan to Kazakhstan Hamza Mahmoud Yousef Al-Omari, emphasized the need to open direct air connections and facilitate the visa regime for mutual trips, the press service of the department reported. Last year, Kazakhstan was visited by 1,130 tourists from Jordan.
