Students of Karaganda University help in the fight against floods

Students, along with rescuers, took part in anti-flood measures, reports the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

The young people were among the personnel of the National Security Service of the Karaganda region in connection with the threat of flooding in the 6th and 7th microdistricts of the village of Zhybek Zholy of the Akmola region.

Miras Zhapparov and Baltabek Sarsembaev, students of the "Life Safety and Environmental Protection" specialty educational institution, took part in the evacuation of people and animals, the implementation of anti-flood measures to strengthen the embankment.

Another student, Ali Amanov, has been in the city of Atyrau since April 11, where he, along with other rescuers, participates in the construction of a dam, a dam, strengthening the shore, performs tasks to ensure public order and prevent acts of looting and theft.

The flood situation once again emphasized the importance and demand of the chosen specialty for university students.
